The clamp, the piece that attaches to the bike seat, is 3 1/2" long.

- Wrap protective plastic scratch-guard around seat post.
- Bolt brackets onto seat post over plastic sleeve.
- Screw suspension spring onto end of distancing bracket.
- Slide distancing bar into bracket and bolt into place.
- Clip leash to end of suspension spring.
