Shipping and Handling: Picking Up Orders: Next Day/Expedited
Delivery:

Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the actual weight and destination of each order and will be displayed at checkout. Products marked UPS Large Package require additional shipping charges and are excluded from the Free Freight Policy. UPS Large Package shipping costs are determined by Package size as outlined below. Any products that are shipped at the higher UPS Large Package rate will be flagged as "Large Package" in your shopping cart.

Some customers prefer to pick up their orders the next day at our Woburn, MA or Reno, NV Outlet Stores.

If you want to pick up your order at either of our outlet stores, you must place your order via phone by 3 PM (EST) Monday through Thursday for pick up the next day.

Saturday pick up: Orders must be received by Noon (EST) on Friday.

Next Day Air Saver, 2nd Day, and 3-Day shipping are available for an additional charge. We recommend UPS 2nd Day Air for two-day service anywhere in the U.S. for a nominal cost based on the weight of the order. At final checkout, you can select one of these options and the cost will be automatically calculated for you.

Please note that delivery times for Next Day Air Saver, 2nd Day and 3-Day refer to business days only and excludes weekends and holidays.

Note: Aerosols cannot be shipped via air or outside the continental U.S.

Calculating UPS
Large Package Items:
Determining the Billable Weight of UPS Shipments:

Oversize charges may apply to products shipped via UPS (ground or air) based on the size of the Package. Effective January 1, 2007, UPS has changed how they calculate Large Package shipping costs. Any box shipped via UPS that is larger than 3 cubic feet in size will be charged shipping costs based on its dimensional weight rather than the actual weight of the Package.

Beginning January 1, 2008 the following steps will be used to determine the shipping and handling charges for boxes larger than 3 cubic feet that are shipped via UPS.

  1. Determine the Actual Package Weight. Use any standard scale, and round any fraction of a pound up to the next full pound.
  2. Determine the Cubic Size of the Package. To calculate the cubic size of the Package, multiply the Package length by the width by the height, rounding each to the nearest whole inch. For example, 14 3/4” will be rounded up to 15” for the calculation. If the cubic size of the Package is three cubic feet (5,184 cubic inches) or greater, the Dimensional Weight will be used to calculate shipping and handling charges. If the Package is less than three cubic feet in size, Dimensional Weight does not apply.
  3. Determine the Dimensional Weight: Divide the cubic size (in inches) of the Package by 194 (166 for UPS Standard to Canada) to determine the dimensional weight in pounds. Increase the total to the nearest full pound.
  4. Determine the Billable Weight: Compare the Package’s Actual Weight to its Dimensional Weight. The larger of the two weights is the billable weight used to calculate shipping and handling charges for your order.
  5. Examples Of Calculating Billable Weight For UPS Large Package Packages. Use chart below:
Length Package Width Height Dimensional Weight Calculation Dimensional Weight Package Weight Billable Weight
19 1/2" 17 3/4" 18" (20x18x18)/194 33 1/3 lbs 25 lbs 34 lbs
19 1/2" 17 3/4" 18" (20x18x18)/194 33 1/3 lbs 40 lbs 40 lbs
Motor Freight Shipments: Very large and/or heavy products that are shipped via Motor Freight, (truck), are marked “Ships via motor freight” and will require a freight quote. If you place an order for products that ship via Motor Freight, we will email you a quote and will wait for your approval prior to processing your order. Items shipped via motor freight are excluded from the Free Freight Policy.

International Orders: Shipping and Handling charges and duties, taxes and tariffs are the responsibility of the buyer. If you place an order for products that ship outside the United States or Canada, we will email you a freight quote and will wait for your approval prior to processing your order.
