Unopened product has a shelf life of two years from date of manufacture. Once opened, it will last 72 hours in a refrigerator. It may be frozen (ice cube trays are recommended) for up to 6 weeks. Milk may darken (as much as to the color of frozen cola). This does not harm the milk. It will lighten when thawed.

For orphaned kittens, they may be fed the daily rate of 2 tbsp per 4 oz (1/4 lb) body weight. The daily feeding rate should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Weigh the kitten 3 times a week to assure adequate feeding. As a food supplement, mix the liquid into the daily ration at the rate of 1 tbsp per 5 lbs body weight. For pregnant and lactating queens, mix the liquid into the daily ration at the rate of 2 tbsp per 5 lbs body weight until 2 weeks after queening.
