Smart Dog Containment Systems allow owners to create an in-ground, hidden fence using an easy-to-install boundary wire. Pet control system can be used to keep dogs in yard or to prohibit them from entering gardens, swimming pools, etc. Dogs wearing the receiver collar receive a warning when they approach the boundary. If they continue toward the boundary, they receive a harmless but effective electrical stimulus to remind them to stay in the designated area. Receiver of pet control system is water-resistant and lightweight (just 2 1/2 oz) and is set at medium for dogs with a mild temperament. Receiver can be used with dogs as small as 8 lbs. Transmitter provides lightning protection to protect house wiring. Dual Zone feature increases stimulus as dog gets closer to boundary. Transmitter of pet control system is wall-mountable. Covers areas up to 5 acres with the addition of extra boundary kits (see item ZX936 sold separately). Each kit increases coverage by approximately 1/2 acre. Extra receiver collar is also available (see item ZX935 sold separately). For use with dogs older than 6 months.
