Pros: Can be used plugged in
Cons: Way too loud!
Review: I also got this as a promo item. That's a good thing because I would have been horrified if I'd spent the money and got this. Overall I would give this a 2 1/2 stars but they didn't have that option.Good News: I love that I can use it either plugged in or cordless. It fits my hand beautifully. It does an incredibly tight cut and I like the long blade (T shaped).Bad News: It is shockingly loud. Too loud to use on faces and ears. Which leaves feet? But.. it really vibrates and even dogs without sensitive feet freaked. Teeth are very close together, so have used this a mat remover on my cat (behind an ear and under the chin) after I spent two weeks gone and came home to find he hadn't been brushed as well as he should have been. Teenagers, need I say more. It slipped under there nice and neat and popped it right out, but the noise freaked him out something terrible and he had to be held even thoughhe is groomed frequently and never reacts to my other clippers or trimmers. So ... I have ended up using this as a trimmer when I do my military son's hair ( I have done both of my boys' hair since they were babies). The noise and vibration doesn't bother him andit does an excellent job on that high and tight he prefers. Not what it was intended for I know but...... lemons/lemonade and all that jazz. If my family was still doing 4H I would love this for prepping dairy cattle, goats or sheep for the show rings.
