Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Difficult to remove
Review: As soon as I put this up, my smallest cat commandeered it, and rarely lets the others use it. Which is just as well, since I'm not sure it could withstand the weight of the others. It's really easy to install, but the Velcro® strip that came with it wasn't that great (too narrow, and the glue side of the strip that adheres to the window sill was a bit dried out). I bought new and sturdier Velcro at the hardware store, and that has lasted for months now.The scrolled white metal legs are adjustable, so you can make the perch fit most any window. Also, the legs have small clear plastic pieces to cover them where they hit the wall, so that you don't have metal directly hitting your wall.I'm sure that, when I take this down, pulling up the Velcro strip is going to remove thefinish on the windowsill, and I'll have to sand it and put down a fresh coat of polyurethane, but the alternative is a perch that screws into the wall or sill, which I'd rather avoid.
