Trending Tools

Currently trending in the industry are some tools that keep pets safer and make our jobs easier.

  • The Groomers Wall - this nifty device helps keep pets from endlessly dancing on the table by restricting their surface area. It reduces the chance of a pet falling and keeps it closer to the groomer while it is being worked on. Groomers who use this tool report amazing results.
  • Trach Saver Grooming Loops - Traditional safety loops can irritate the trachea of dogs who pull on the loop or are predisposed to throat and neck problems. These vinyl loops secure dogs under their front legs, and no pressure is applied to the animal's throat, but the pet is still safely restrained.
  • Quick Dry Sprays - Using proprietary ingredients, these sprays reduce the time it takes to get pets dry, allowing groomers to work more swiftly and efficiently. Since getting dried tends to be the least favorite part of the grooming process for many pets, using tools to shorten the process is a gift to the groomers and the dogs as well.
  • Super absorbing towels - Removing more water after the bath is a great idea for the same reasons stated above. The Artero towel is a groomer favorite.
  • Wide Blades - If you have not tried wide blades yet, what are you waiting for? Cover more ground with less work. Pro tip-wide blades will wear out your blade drive more quickly, so have a few extras on hand.
  • Wide Snap-on Combs - Groomers who love their wide blades also rave about the snap-on combs that fit them.
  • Best Shot The Maxx Miracle Detangler - This versatile product can be used as a final rinse or a finishing spray. Not only does it detangle, but it also repels dirt, desheds, and cuts drying time.
  • Happy Hoodies - Protect pet's ears while drying them by slipping a comfortable Happy Hoodie over their head. This will keep air from bothering sensitive ear canals and help dry the fur around the ears while it is in place.
  • Groomers who want to stay in the industry long-term gravitate towards ergonomic tools that help prevent work-related injuries. Electric and hydraulic tables, tubs that lower to admit large pets, and comfortable stools that allow groomers to sit for some of their workdays all help to ensure groomers stay healthy for the long game.

Industry innovations keep rolling in, making our jobs easier and keeping groomers and animals safer.
