The round or cone nozzle is fabulous for dematting and getting out undercoat. The air coming out of this type of nozzle tends to come out in a vortex.
The patented concave flat nozzle helps eliminate those pesky hair kinks that velocity dryers are known for. Flat nozzles that are commonly called water strippers. They are narrow and are fabulous for all types of coat. Their purpose is to remove as much water as possible fast! They also straighten coats easily at the skin level saving time later on the finish drying, sometimes eliminating the need for that altogether. The air will be cooler out of this nozzle as it comes out in a straight line not in a vortex.
